Key Objectives

As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, responsible for troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating technical problems efficiently. Your efforts will directly support the operational excellence of our healthcare teams by maintaining reliable technology systems.

Responsibilities

Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues across multiple platforms.
Document, track, and manage support requests using the company’s ticketing system.
Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and medical technology equipment.
Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues and implement solutions.
Maintain knowledge base articles and user documentation to enhance support efficiency.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize IT service delivery.
Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and data security standards.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably within healthcare or related industries.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common network protocols.
Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Effective communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
