We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Payroll Clerk to support our payroll operations. In this role, you’ll help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with payroll regulations. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s organized, numbers-focused, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Process payroll accurately and on schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly)

* Review timesheets, attendance records, and payroll data for accuracy

* Enter, update, and maintain employee payroll information

* Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and overtime

* Assist with payroll taxes, garnishments, and benefit deductions

* Respond to employee payroll-related questions

* Maintain payroll records and ensure data confidentiality

* Support audits and payroll reports as needed

* Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Previous payroll or accounting experience preferred

* Basic understanding of payroll processes and regulations

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software

* Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

* Strong organizational and time-management skills

* Reliable internet connection and home workspace
