We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote Bookkeeping Assistant to support our accounting and finance operations. In this role, you will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting basic accounting tasks—all while working remotely. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers and can manage tasks independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with recording daily financial transactions

* Maintain and update bookkeeping records accurately

* Process invoices, receipts, and expense reports

* Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

* Reconcile bank and credit card statements

* Help prepare financial reports and summaries

* Organize and maintain digital financial records

* Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding billing issues

* Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial data

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred

* Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles

* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

* Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks

* Comfortable working independently in a remote setting

* Reliable internet connection and home workspace
