Temporary Data Entry Clerk

What you can expect as a Data Entry Clerk at West Star:
This position will be temporary, lasting approximately 3 months, and will focus on uploading data into a learning management system (LMS). It requires strong organization and attention to detail, as well as intermediate to advanced knowledge of Office 365 applications, i.e., Excel, SharePoint, and others. The main duty of this position will be reviewing individual training records and loading them into the LMS system.
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS, including:
• Ensuring individual training records are accurate and provide the required training history retention
• Reviewing training files to determine if the files need to be uploaded as an individual record or a group record
• Organizing training record documentation into an established standardized format for ease of review

What you’ll need to bring with you:
Your Education
• A high school diploma or equivalent
Your Experience
• Prior experience reviewing aircraft maintenance records preferred
• Word processing and typing experience preferred

This person will need to have strong attention to detail, be well-organized, and be able to prioritize workload efficiently.

Physical Requirements
• Sit at a desk and/or computer for extended intervals
• Basic personal computer operations
Mental Requirements
• Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines
• Professionally work with others
• Be able to input and retrieve information from computers
• Experience with Microsoft products, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel spreadsheets
• Work independently with minimal supervision
Working Conditions
• Work from home / remote
• 20–40 hours per week
Equipment Used
• Administrative office equipment, including copiers, printers, scanners, etc.
• Personal computer operating with Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and various other programs
