Position Summary:
NAICO is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of our insurance division by accurately entering and reviewing customer and account data. Ideal candidates will have strong typing abilities, keen attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn and apply internal coding standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy and completeness
- Accurately input policy and endorsement information into our systems on a daily basis
- Perform internal coding as per company guidelines
- Review data for deficiencies or errors and correct any inconsistencies
- Meet monthly production and accuracy deadlines
- Verify completed work to ensure data integrity
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in the insurance industry or in a data entry role is a plus
Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent typing/keyboarding skills with high accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong clerical skills and the ability to work independently
- Ability to memorize codes and spot inconsistencies or errors quickly
