Data Entry Specialist

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Plot entry and management for Field Sales Reps and Technical Agronomist in Trial Management program on call crops (Corn, Cotton, Soybean, Sorghum).
- Cotton quality data entry once received from local gin; order all cotton tags and bags for cotton sample shipping.
- Enter all university and third-party trials for cotton.
- Manage plots in Trial Management program throughout the season and work with Technical Agronomists to approve for release to Marketing.
- Learn and then train field-facing roles in use of Trial Management program.
- Collaborate with Technical Agronomists on management and analysis of product characterization data and building a system for crop protection data analysis.
- Coordinate Demo material shipping.
- Responsible for delivering the highest quality field data as part of sales and agronomy unit.
- Collaborate with unit support squad members from Agronomy and Marketing.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent;
- Familiarity with Trial Management, PTP (Product, Trials, and Positioning), Velocity, Scout Programs;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Capable of maintaining/working with large data sets;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team-based environment;
- Experience with both standard Microsoft office computer software systems used in scientific data analysis, with ability to quickly learn new software programs and tools as needed;
- Problem-solving skills.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $44,287.74 - $66,431.60. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
