Job Description
We are searching for a Data Entry Assistant (Part-Time) to join our Technomic Data Management team. This is a work-from-home position, with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.

Under the supervision of the Team Lead, you are responsible for quarterly menu data updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately collect, organize, and input data into our systems.
- Use the internet as a research tool
- Collaborate with the Team Lead to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data management tasks.
- Read, edit, and work with PDF documents to extract necessary information.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
- Assist in generating reports and summaries based on collected data.
Qualifications
- Provide your own desktop computer or laptop and internet connectivity in a private, secure environment (Tablets are not acceptable)
- Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours a week. Up to 29 hours available.
- Previous experience in data entry or adjacent role
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, ambitious, adaptable and hard-working: attention to detail a must
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline-oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Publisher & Excel
- A keen interest in research and information gathering
Nice to Haves:
- Basic understanding of food, beverage & restaurant industry
- General understanding of menu structure
- Food service experience a plus
