WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Sales Assistant will join a high-performing sales team that’s already achieving great success, and play a key role in taking our sales performance to the next level. As a Sales Assistant, you will be an integral part of our continued growth by providing critical support to the sales process, including administrative, operational, and client engagement tasks. The ideal candidate is driven to succeed, organized, and eager to learn, with a long-term goal of transitioning into a Sales Representative role.
- Sales Support:
- Partner closely with the Sales Rep to maximize sales bookings by ensuring all pre- and post-meeting tasks are handled efficiently and accurately.
- Handle administrative tasks such as updating customer records in the CRM, reviewing communications and contracts for accuracy, note taking, and preparing detailed estimations before scheduled sales calls.
- Customer Engagement:
- Create and deliver value-add touchpoints between sales meetings to guide customers through their journey and maintain strong engagement.
- Schedule and coordinate follow-up meetings with clients to ensure timely and consistent communication, especially for clients who are not in a position to make a quick decision.
- CRM Management:
- Maintain and update customer data in the CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and seamless information access for the sales team.
- Marketing Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between the Sales Rep and the Marketing Team, sharing feedback from sales meetings to inform content strategies and improve marketing alignment with customer needs.
- Create or enhance follow-up materials, such as email templates, and identify additional sales or marketing materials that would maximize Customer Engagement during follow-up.
- Upskilling to Sales Rep:
- Participate in on-the-job training to develop sales techniques, product knowledge, and client engagement strategies, preparing for a potential transition into a Sales Rep role.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Travel required 2-4 times per year to attend industry trade shows, company meetings, and client meetings.
- Part-time or full-time position available.
- Previous experience in sales support, administration, or customer service is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A collaborative mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow into a sales position.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
