This position is responsible for collecting commercial, government, and patient balances by following the approved processes, policies and procedures set by the Regional Billing Organization

Responsibilities
This is a remote position.
Essential Functions (may include but not limited to)
1.Resolve patient accounts by following up on unpaid claims and/or claim denials.
2. Handle and answer all patient or insurance telephone inquiries.
3.Communicate clearly and in a positive manner with assigned staff.
4.Provide excellent customer service to team members and patients.
5.Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
6.Handle and resolve issues of patients and insurance payers.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Experience
High School degree a or equivalent
Minimum of one (1) year of medical office and/or medical billing experience is required
Efficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
