SUMMARY: Are you ready to take your collections career to the next level? Join our dynamic Shared Services Team as an Accounts Receivable Collector! In this role, you'll be at the heart of driving cash flow and helping strengthen our customer relationships across multiple business units. We're looking for someone with a background in corporate collections, who is ready to bring energy, strategy, and a customer-first approach to our team.
What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of a diverse A/R customer portfolio, ensuring timely collections and prompt resolution of outstanding balances.
- Conduct routine collection calls to determine payment status and resolve any issues preventing payment.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal partners and external customers to create an exceptional customer experience.
- Dive deep into customer processes, uncover contacts, and identify issues impacting timely payment.
- Proactively identify customers at risk and escalate issues to Sales or Management as needed.
- Document and address customer disputes, identifying root causes of delinquencies to support continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of corporate collections experience
- Knowledge of billing and collections processes
- Solutions-oriented, proactive problem solver with strong initiative
- A team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge
- Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and work within deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for service excellence
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
- Experience identifying and resolving root causes of payment delays
- Strong understanding of customer infrastructures and processes
Travel Required: 0-10%
