RAB Lighting is growing rapidly and is seeking a Lighting Control Customer Support Representative. This remote-based position requires a detailed, action-oriented problem-solver to assist our customers throughout the entire lighting purchase cycle, from choosing appropriate products, installation, configuration and troubleshooting. Representatives communicate with customers through phone, email ... and chat in a fun and fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
The Lighting Control Customer Support Representative is a critical part of our mission to be the #1 customer-focused company in the industry. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
• Handling inbound calls from customers regarding their lighting control system.
• Helping customer’s set-up and make changes to their lighting system.
• Analyzing customer’s electrical drawings and recommending products to suit their lighting needs.
• Computer data entry of customer information.
• Trouble-shooting lighting issues.
• Providing in-depth information regarding our lighting system to potential customers.
Skills & Experience
• Experience in lighting control systems.
• Experience in electrical wiring.
• An understanding of electrical circuitry.
• Knowledge of different forms of lighting.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• Computer knowledge and typing ability.
• Good communication ability and experience with speaking to customers.
• Sales experience would be beneficial but not imperative.
• Undergraduate degree or electrician training program certification preferred.
