The Healthcare Industry Group (HIG) and the North American Commercial Restructuring Team (NACR) are looking for a dynamic Executive Assistant who can support Senior Partners in both groups.

What will you be doing?
Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an enthusiastic Executive Assistant (EA) to join the HIG and NACR team. This role will be pivotal in assisting with the daily operations for each team while supporting at least six Managing Directors. This position will be based in the New York City office and requires a hybrid schedule with standard working hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Managing and coordinating Managing Directors’ calendars through Outlook to ensure conflicts are avoided and scheduled events are respected.
Submit expense reports through Concur and reconcile corporate credit card statements.
Work closely with the staff to keep the team well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up as appropriate.
Prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns to determine appropriate course of action.
Provide a bridge for smooth communication between internal and external groups as well as guidance to additional support personnel.
Schedule and organize meetings, conference calls, events, and other departmental activities.
Coordinate travel plans, hotels, and car service.
Meeting and greeting clients and other visitors.
Oversee all scheduling of the mid-year and yearend review process.
Assist the recruiting leads with managing the process in conjunction with Talent Acquisition when necessary, and onboarding new team members in collaboration with the national staff.
Own the scheduling and content of the monthly team calls, Managing Director calls, and any additional communications (emails, etc.).
Maintain the regional availability tracker, updating and circulating weekly.
Manage the planning and execution of the annual regional meeting, holiday parties, and any other internal and client events as needed.
Tracking data and leads in Salesforce
Assist with department and operational activities/projects as needed and perform other work-related duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
A Bachelors’ Degree in relevant field of study (degree in business-related field a plus) is preferred.
3+ years of Administrative Assistant or Executive Assistant experience in consulting, professional services, accounting, or a law firm.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Understands the importance of strict confidentiality of internal/personnel affairs/client information.
Ability and desire to learn and develop new skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Impeccable attention to detail and self-review and strong follow-up skills.
Demonstrates ownership and accuracy of work product.
Must work efficiently and be able to meet deadlines; strong time management skills; prompt reliable service.
A self-starter who can multi-task and support multiple people with varied personalities.
Ability to work independently, as well as on a team, in a fast-paced environment.
Able to interact effectively and professionally with clients and all levels of firm personnel.
Willingness to be coached / desire and capacity for growth / positive teaming attitude.
Flexibility to work additional hours as required in the office and remotely.
The salary range is $90,000 - $100,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.

Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
