Title: Assistant Manager Of Health Insurance Enrollment

Job Description:
Position Summary: The Assistant Manager will assist New York residents with enrolling into the NY State of Health Insurance Marketplace and educate the public on the Marketplace. He or she will also assist in training new Navigators, managing employees and compiling weekly and monthly reports.
Responsibilities:
Manages team toward achievement of it's contractual goal of 400 contracts monthly
Assists Director on program management and promotion to target populations
Assists the Director on achieving all milestones required by our contract
Hires, trains, and supervises Benefits Navigators
Manages partnerships and coordinates between different enrollment sites
Assists program expansion plan and grant research
Administers customer satisfaction surveys and collects client stories monthly
Maintains NADAP's client database
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
At least 1 year of staff management or supervisory experience
At least 2 years experience working with the Health Insurance Marketplace or related health insurance experience
In order to perform this job the individual must pass the Navigator training issued by NY State of Health or already be certified
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Approximately 50% travel within NYC boroughs
Must be able to work nights and weekend as necessary
Bilingual preferred in one of the common languages in NY, such as: Russian, Spanish, Chinese, French, or Korean.
Salary: $65,000/year
Schedule: Hybrid- 3 days on site, 2 days remote
Program Overview: Our Health Insurance Navigator (IPA) team currently helps New Yorkers enroll in the Health Insurance Marketplace in Manhattan but also Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx.
