The opportunity:
NWC is in search of a Premium Seating Sales Manager, this position is newly created and is responsible for building prospects, driving sales and managing the execution of events within the venue’s premium seating areas. This involves selling suites to potential clients, coordinating event details, and ensuring a high level of client and attendee satisfaction. This position will work with campus partners and various departments as needed to ensure sure things are running smoothly.

What you will do:
- Prospecting new clients and generating leads for sales suites including building and managing a sales pipeline from scratch.
- Conducting sales presentations and tours to showcase premium seating areas.
- Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Developing creative uses for suites beyond traditional events.
- Establishing pricing strategies and negotiating contracts for suites to maximize revenue.
- Meeting sales suite goals and objectives as well as tracking performance metrics and adjusting strategies based on knowledge gained.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
- Coordinating all aspects of suite events, including catering, staffing and logistics and working closely with ticketing, catering and operations to ensure flawless execution.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for suite holders on contract questions, event access, and service-related concerns.
- Quickly responding to and troubleshooting issues that might arise during events.
- Maintaining accurate tracking of bookings, attendance and upcoming event inventory.
- Identifying new revenue opportunities (VIP parking, exclusive access, bundled experiences)
- Developing, documenting, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for premium seating sales, event execution, and suite-holder experiences.
- Assisting with the sales and promotion of other venue spaces during periods of lower premium seating demand to support overall venue revenue goals and maximize campus utilization.

- Background in managing budgets to include revenue and expenses.
- Strong prospecting experience and pipeline creation skills.
- Analyzing sales data and identifying revenue growth and opportunities.
- Monitoring the market for trends and best practices to stay current.
- Excellent customer services and interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills.
- Proven ability to generate leads, close sales and negotiate contracts.
- Experience in premium sales, suite sales or high end event sales (stadium, arena, convention center preferred)
- This role is physically demanding, requiring standing, walking, lifting, bending for long periods of time.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Work location and hours:
This position can be performed through a mix of on-site and remote work in Denver, Colorado.
Compensation Range:
The range for this role is $70,000 - $75,000

The brand-new Stockyards Event Center is a multipurpose space with two arenas, ample parking and views of the Rocky Mountains and the Denver skyline. An outdoor plaza connects it to 20 acres of hardscaped yards for outdoor concerts, festivals, large equipment trade shows, sporting events, drive-in movies and more. In 2018, the campus partners created the National Western Center Authority, a nonprofit organization responsible for operating, maintaining, programming, and promoting the National Western Center. The Authority is the primary entity responsible for ensuring the National Western Center achieves its mission. It is also responsible for developing a community investment fund benefiting the residents of the Globeville, Elyria and Swansea neighborhoods in which the campus is located. The Authority’s work is well underway in preparation for buildings being completed and the larger campus opening to the public. The Authority is guided by a 13-member board of directors. The Authority is doing business as (DBA) the National Western Center.
