Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Fixed-Wing Team
Location – Remote
Starting Salary Range – $100,000 – 115,000 DOE

We’re hiring a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition – Fixed‑Wing, who is responsible for leading and evolving nationwide recruitment strategy and execution for GMR’s fixed‑wing aviation hiring needs. This people-focused oversees end‑to‑end recruiting operations, drives strategic initiatives, leads and develops recruiting team members, and partners closely with operational stakeholders to ensure critical talent needs are met in support of GMR’s mission. Additionally, this person will play a key role in our HR commitment to excellence—shaping our culture, embodying HR key competencies, and ensuring a positive employee and candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
Support
- The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition – Fixed‑Wing manage fixed‑wing talent acquisition functions nationwide, delivering both short‑ and long‑term recruiting strategies aligned to operational staffing demands and business objectives
- Define, implement, and continuously improve efficient and effective national recruiting processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure a consistent, high‑quality experience for candidates and hiring leaders
- Build and manage a data‑driven recruiting organization by providing market intelligence, workforce insights, and regular report metrics such as time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, pipeline health, and quality of hire to hiring managers and senior leaders
- Utilize ATS and supporting technology, and reporting tools to monitor requisition activity, pipeline health, and operational readiness
- Oversee recruitment data integrity, compliance standards, and national TA processes in alignment with the team standards and the ATS
- Consult and advise on job posting promotion and advertisement campaigns, including job description updates and job board posting strategies to attract the right talent
Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop talent acquisition managers and recruiters supporting fixed‑wing hiring; provide guidance, performance feedback, training support, and escalation management as needed
- Own and drive strategic recruitment initiatives and projects from scoping and resource planning through execution, measurement, and rollout—on time and on budget
- Maintain open, consistent communication with senior leaders and operational partners, providing visibility into recruiting performance, challenges, and strategy adjustments
- Oversee key vendor relationships, vendor performance, and external partnerships to maximize talent attraction and recruitment outcomes
- Champion pipeline recruitment strategies and initiatives to grow diverse, inclusive talent pipelines across fixed‑wing roles
- Stay current on recruitment technology trends, labor market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to inform short‑ and long‑term workforce and talent strategies
Reporting Relationship
- Reports to the Director of TA for Aviation
Qualifications:
Education
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
Experience
- 8+ years of progressive recruitment experience, including leadership responsibility in talent acquisition
- Proven track record of coaching, training, developing and scaling recruitment functions and teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact and present to all levels of leadership
- Skilled in advanced sourcing, talent pipeline development, and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS platforms
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical, organizational, and technology acumen with the ability to translate data into action
Preferred
- Experience supporting large, geographically dispersed workforce
- Aviation, healthcare, emergency medical services, or similarly regulated industry experience
