An Administrative Assistant provides clerical and organizational support to ensure efficient office operations. This role involves managing schedules, handling communications, maintaining records, and assisting team members with various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
- Organize and maintain filing systems (physical and digital)
- Order office supplies and manage inventory
- Assist in coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements
- Greet visitors and provide general support to clients and staff
- Handle data entry, recordkeeping, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Support managers and other staff with administrative duties
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
