- Be a trusted advisor to clients, providing financial stewardship, expert advice, and insights.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of client's business and anticipate marketing/advertising problems and opportunities.
- Organically grow revenue and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and manage Scopes of Work (SOW) and Managed Service Agreements (MSA).
- Ensure alignment of SOW against resource allocation and agency profitability.
- Provide thought leadership in Retail Media and the Retailer/CPG Brand ecosystem.
- Advance knowledge in customer-first, omni-channel strategies and Martech applications.
- Oversee client reporting to highlight insights, analytics, and recommendations.
- Develop strategic, senior-level relationships with brand clients.
- Participate in pitches and presentations to win new business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic frameworks and campaign roadmaps.
- Coach and develop teams to be consultative, strategic leaders for clients.
- Provide leadership, feedback, team alignment, and development.
- Champion direct reports’ career growth and development opportunities.
- Increase team's skills and knowledge for industry expansion.
Experience:
- Minimum of seven years working in paid digital media, including Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic.
- 10+ years of holistic marketing and media experience and strong knowledge of the digital media and programmatic ecosystem.
- 6+ years of digital marketing/media experience focusing on strategy and working with senior stakeholders.
- 6+ years with direct client management and people management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with strategic direction capability.
- Experience with Tableau, DV360, Trade Desk, AdWords, and Facebook preferred.
- Proven success with pitching to big brands.
- Proven success selling value and business growth over cost savings.
- Strong business acumen and ability to synthesize information to add value.
- Ability to manage change, self-starter, and team-player mentality.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in a technical discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
