Data Entry Analyst
Job Summary: To make the determination of dental procedure codes and process dental claims via OCR scanning/data entry.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Key data from claims into the claims system using an average monthly production level.
- Arkansas: Key From Image (KFI) – 30 claims per hour; Optical Character Recognition (OCR) – 75 claims per hour
- New Jersey: Key From Image (KFI) – 50 claims per hour; Reject Repair (OCR) – 120 claims per hour
- Tennessee: Key From Image (KFI) – 35 claims per hour; Optical Character Recognition (OCR) – 85 claims per hour
- Review exception reports and research claims pending to the exception report for required data.
- Reject claims that need further research to ensure accuracy.
- Report system issues to management.
- Meet claims turnaround time of 1 day (AR) and 2 days (NJ and TN).
- Meet monthly individual Quality Assurance quota of 99%.
Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.
Minimum Qualifications:
Will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus 1 year data entry experience, intermediate experience working with word processing, 10-key, and alphanumeric data entry
