ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Pre-Sales Consultant to join our AMER team. In this role, you will play a key part in the sales process, working closely with prospective clients to ensure our platform meets their needs and challenges.
This remote opportunity is perfect for someone eager to further develop their consultative and technical skills with a respected software company in a rapidly growing industry. We're seeking a professional who is confident working independently and as part of cross-functional teams, collaborating with Sales, Services, Customer Success, and Marketing.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and motivated by the growth potential of a high-growth tech company. Product training will be provided, and you’ll gain a deep understanding of our platform and Enterprise Architecture concepts to succeed in this role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the product expert to demonstrate ABACUS' capabilities and show how it can address customers’ challenges.
- Support the Sales Team with in-depth product expertise, leading product demonstrations, responding to RFPs when needed, and conducting detailed POCs.
- Understand customer requirements and provide product-oriented solutions and guidance based on their business needs.
- Identify patterns in customer/prospect interactions to create new architectural content, influence product development, and reinforce Marketing Team messaging.
- Act as the point of contact for prospects with technical and product questions as they progress toward becoming clients.
- Represent the company as a technical expert at key conferences and other marketing events.
- Share customer feedback with Product Management Teams and assist in testing new platform features and functionality.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in pre-sales engineering or consulting, ideally in Enterprise/BI software, is a plus.
- Ability to work remotely while staying self-motivated and focused.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply complex software solutions to business challenges.
- Effective communication, presentation, and listening skills.
- Capable of simplifying complex topics while emphasizing business value.
- Builds rapport with prospects and effectively demonstrates product value.
- Adaptable, quick-thinking, and able to adjust to change.
- Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to learning and growth.

You may have experience in the following roles: Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Solutions Consultant, Solutions Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Customer Engineer, Application Engineer.
