Description
This position contributes to processing and operations in support Thrivent’s fee-based dedicated planning program, a service through which Thrivent financial representatives serve members to help them be wise with money. This individual helps to ensure service-related activities are performed quickly, accurately, cost-effectively and in compliance with internal service and state and federal regulatory standards. Provides support in the development of policies/procedures and quality assessments. This position focuses on using job or technical knowledge and skills to serve customers effectively.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide services as part of a dedicated planning operations functional team. This includes processing dedicated planning service agreement contracts, compensation, payments, operational tasks to add field representatives into the dedicated planning program and general correspondence with field representatives involving maintenance requests, transfers and renewals and basic research, including calls as required. This includes analyzing and processing non-routine and/or complex new business and service transactions and addressing "not in good order" items.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of dedicated planning operations, services and affiliated systems including applicable operational policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain a high quality and professional working relationship with field professionals, and internal business units as it relates to maintaining the service agreements and payment processing.
- Analyze, approve and provide high quality and timely service assuring strong member and field satisfaction and achieving and exceeding established service level timeframes.
- Provide quality customer service by providing detailed, accurate and timely communications to ensure the field and members have a reasonable understanding of the operational status of the account.
- Works collaboratively to achieve or exceed department quality standards.
Required Job Qualifications
- High School Degree Required. 1-2 years related experience
- Must possess strong written and communication skills.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and applicable financial reporting tools.
Other Critical Factors
- Ability to work day and/or evening shifts according to volume forecasts.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $18.94 - $25.62 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
