Job Description
The Licensed Sales Specialist (Property & Casualty) is responsible for driving sales growth for the organization through inbound and outbound modes of interaction. The specialist is responsible for using strong sales skills to deliver a proven sales method that uncovers customer needs, identifies gaps in coverage, recommends solutions to fully protect customers, all while building a case to positively influence the decision to purchase Allstate’s products. The specialists will be evaluated based on sales production, time management, quality of business produced, and strict adherence to company and industry rules, regulations, and processes that protect Allstate and its customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Proactively seeking ways to increase household penetration and improve customer retention by applying effective selling and influencing techniques.
• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of specific company products and services to portray confidence and credibility to customers, while matching customer needs to Allstate products and service.
• Provides an exceptional sales experience by exploring sales opportunities: including cross quoting, determining appropriate coverage options and best rates via Allstate Systems to prospects through inbound, outbound and chat sales-based customer interactions to meet sales targets and performance goals.
• Requires ability to navigate multiple complex systems, enter customer information, upload documents, authenticate identities using the computer and specific software and respond to a predicative dialer system.
• Ability to analyze customer needs, recommend and promote alternative products, while engaging in proper protection conversation, by reviewing and assessing customer risks.
• Requires extensive knowledge of the organization, products and services and may require advanced problem solving and sophisticated sales techniques.
• Ability to lean into discomfort and leverage talk paths to overcome complex customer objections.
• Apply continuous improvement methodology to solve problems, ensure correct time keeping, optimal functioning of support software, submit technical tickets if necessary.
• Attend ongoing training to maintain license, stay updated on Allstate product changes and applicable laws and regulations.
• Work with leadership to set and meet item plan and key performance goals and standards that align with company growth strategies.
Education
• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
Experience
• 0-2 years experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job does not have supervisory duties.

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $17.50 – 23.13 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
