Delaware North is hiring full-time Reservation Agents to join our Reservation Center team located in Amherst, New York. As a Reservation Sales Agent, you will handle a high volume of inbound calls from future guests who wish to make reservations at hotels and resorts around the country. Some in-person training will be required at our headquarters in Buffalo, NY. We are currently hiring for 2nd shift (12:00pm-9:00pm, one weekend shift 12:00pm-8:30pm). Please note, the training is approximately 5 weeks, during that time schedule will be 9:00am-5:30pm. Only need to come to headquarters the first week of training, the rest of the time will be remote.
Pay
$15.00 - $16.50 / hour

Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and provide top-notch customer service
- Use all available resources to answer questions
- Create reservations and recognize opportunities to offer packages and additional services
- Communicate with hotel and resort front desk staff
- Collaborate with managers to assist customers and reach sales goals
Qualifications
- Strong phone, listening, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Customer-focused with a love for helping others
- Maintain a positive, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
- Comfortable using computers with strong typing skills and the ability to multi-task
- Able to use call center software and tools
- Experience working in customer service or the hospitality industry is preferred
