Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Qualification: High School Diploma or GED
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a High School Diploma or GED to join our sales team. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, engaging with potential customers, and supporting the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for sales. No previous sales experience is required, but an enthusiasm for learning and a positive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Use various tools and methods (phone, email, social media, and web research) to prospect and generate new leads.
- Identify and engage with potential customers who could benefit from our products or services.
- Initiate cold calls and send personalized emails to prospects to generate interest and build a sales pipeline.
- Lead Qualification:
- Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing efforts or other sources by determining their fit and interest in our product or service.
- Ask the right questions to identify potential customers' needs, challenges, and readiness to buy.
- Move qualified leads through the sales pipeline by scheduling appointments, demos, or meetings with the appropriate sales team members.
- Appointment Setting & Handoff to Sales Team:
- Set up meetings, product demonstrations, or consultations with Account Executives (AEs) for further sales discussions.
- Provide AEs with key information about prospects before meetings, ensuring a smooth handoff and better chances of conversion.
- CRM and Data Management:
- Enter and maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, and activities in the company’s CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Track all communication with prospects and update the status of each lead regularly.
- Ensure follow-up actions are scheduled, and prospects are nurtured effectively.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Meet and strive to exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls made, emails sent, meetings set, and leads qualified.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including outreach efforts, lead conversion rates, and activity levels.
- Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure that high-quality leads are passed on for follow-up and sales closure.
- Share feedback from prospects and assist in improving sales strategies and messaging.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach campaigns and ensure consistent messaging.
- Continuous Learning & Development:
- Participate in training sessions to improve sales skills, learn about the company’s products or services, and understand the target market.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for lead generation and sales outreach.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience:
- No prior sales experience is required, but experience in customer service, retail, or any client-facing roles is a plus.
- Comfort with phone calls, emails, and social media outreach is essential.
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects over the phone, email, or social media.
- Ability to listen, ask questions, and identify customer needs.
- Basic proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to track and manage multiple prospects.
- Positive attitude, resilience, and a strong willingness to learn.

Working Conditions:
