Onboarding Coach
Responsibilities
As customers purchase our market leading software our Onboarding Coaches guide them through onboarding to get maximum value from our software. In this position, you will work closely with customers via email, phone, and video calls. Your goal will be to help new customers become self-sufficient with our software. Your responsibilities will include configuring our software to meet each customer’s specific needs. You’ll also assist with migrating existing data into our platform. As a strong communicator, you’ll work with several customers at once, guiding each through a multi-month implementation journey. Your goal is to ensure our software is smoothly integrated into their daily operations. Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills are essential in this role. You’ll advocate for customers’ needs and work with multiple departments to find solutions that support their success.
A typical day includes 4-6 one-hour meetings with customers. You’ll also spend time on prep work for ongoing projects in your queue. You will receive comprehensive training and have a team of co-workers to share and learn knowledge from as well as continue to advance your own knowledge in our software. Customer satisfaction is a high priority, and you should have some experience in dealing with external customers.
After one year, you’ll know you were successful if:
- You complete your projects within the given timelines
- You maintain a high customer satisfaction rating
- You successfully maintain a customer queue of 12-15 projects per month
