Overview
Position is responsible for supporting management with handling all phases of arbitration and case management, with a heavy emphasis on discovery, customer service, data metrics and filings.
At this time, US Anesthesia Partners does not hire candidates residing in New York, California, Hawaii, or Alaska.
Job Highlights
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the team with gathering data and support for paying decisions.
- Maintains metrics of decisions and filings entered each day.
- Supports the filing of cases and prepares documentation for hearing rotation.
- Ensures that all response arbitrations are filed timely and accurately.
- Assists in filing Applicant arbitrations to add to subrogation collections and support of insureds' deductibles.
- Handles arbitration correspondence as directed by management.
- Process payment of adverse decisions promptly and addresses Post Decision Inquiries when applicable.
- Partners with the adjusters for clarification on certain aspects of the claim.
- Maintains electronic case file and documents to be retained.
- Works with management to maintain annual case budgets.
- Provides point of contact support for management on assigned cases.
Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSAs):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of related experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and Access.
- Ability to be detail oriented with ability to prioritize.
- Prior collections experience and/or phone work is a plus.
