Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients to the dental office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Eaglesoft ... - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect and process payments from patients
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing patient files
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any concerns or questions
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or medical receptionist is required
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with electronic medical records systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
