DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The Environmental Services staff provide the most thorough and efficient cleaning services across the Alliance.
Summary:
Under supervision of the manager, performs various housekeeping functions, including: soiled line handling and pick up, hard floor care, carpet care, wall cleaning, stairwell cleaning, equipment cleaning and other related functions as assigned by the manager.
Responsibilities:
• Clean patient rooms using 7 steps of cleaning
• Uses proper technique for Precaution Room cleaning
• Perform hard floor care functions as directed. Utilizes approved floor care procedures.
• Uses proper technique for terminal cleaning in the Operating Room.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care functions as directed, utilizing approved carpet and upholstery care standard procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school/GED
6 months experience required; 1 year preferred. Must be able to read and write English and follow simple instructions
