Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome patients to the dental office
Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Eaglesoft ... - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
Collect and process payments from patients
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing patient files
Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any concerns or questions

Experience:

Previous experience as a dental receptionist or medical receptionist is required
Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is a plus
Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations
Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with electronic medical records systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic is highly desirable
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
