This role is responsible for implementing and driving program management for large-scale, complex, global information security events and initiatives. You will partner with service, engineering, and security teams, bringing process and rigor to the response and non-response focused programs.
Team responsibilities also include executing diverse writing projects, such as process documentation and internal team communications, driving notification campaigns in partnership with Legal and Public Relations, and driving internal training ranging from incident response simulations/exercises to videos. You will play a critical role optimizing processes to benchmark best in class operations, standardize performance, and drive continuous improvement. This requires managing and balancing multiple priorities and roles simultaneously.

About The Team
This role is part of the DefSec Operations teams that supports Vulnerability Management and Incident Response teams in Business Operations, Operational Excellence Programs, and Security Team Onboarding.
On any day, this role may be coming up with ways to iterate on our existing processes, providing input for or drafting technical documents, executing on currently running mechanisms, or addressing incoming requests to the team.

Basic Qualifications
• 3+ years of program or project management experience
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
• 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
• Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
