For this role we are specifically looking for someone to join our talented Open Source team. We want to double down on making Laravel the best framework it can be. We're looking for additional developers to make sure we keep the quality of Laravel and our first party packages as high as possible.
Engineering at Laravel
- Work together with a world class team, touching the developer experience of hundreds of thousands of developers around the world.
- Shape the future of the Laravel framework and our first party packages through open source work.
- Work on the entire stack. As an engineer at Laravel you will be involved in designing features, planning architecture, as well as backend and frontend development.
- Flexible hours and minimum bureaucracy, allowing you the freedom to get your best work done whichever way you prefer.
- Connect directly with our users and customers, be it through our open source work or via one of our many social- and support channels.
- Mastery of PHP and Laravel
- Experience with frontend technologies such as Tailwind, Vue, React, Inertia, & TypeScript
- Appreciation for beautiful, clear code and great developer experience
- Ability to prototype, develop, and ship entire PHP and TypeScript packages
- Thrive in an all-remote working environment with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics via Slack and other asynchronous tools
