💡 The Role: Senior Software Engineer
We’re seeking a hands-on, startup-minded Senior Software Engineer to lead the next phase of this platform’s evolution.
You’ll be at the forefront of:
- Transforming the platform into a mobile-native experience (iOS & Android)
- Integrating AI-powered features (e.g., tutoring/study mode using ChatGPT)
- Elevating UX, performance, and scalability to meet the needs of millions of learners
🔧 Scope of Work
- React/JavaScript development: usability + performance improvements
- AI-powered feature prototyping (study/tutoring modes)
- Repo & CI/CD management (migrations, PRs, disciplined code review)
- Cross-team coordination: turning technical updates into clear, concise debriefs
- Roadmap alignment: DevOps board management, sandbox vs production deployments
- Optimisation for low-connectivity environments
📅 First 90 Days Deliverables
- 30 days: Local environment setup + first tangible UX improvements
- 60 days: Multiple UX fixes + mobile-native development underway
- 90 days: Stable UX baseline (auth, navigation, performance) + 2–3 AI features shipped, including AI Study Mode
✅ What You’ll Bring
- 5–7+ years of hands-on coding experience
- Deep expertise in React + JavaScript
- Proven experience shipping AI-powered features into production
- Background in fast-paced, high-standard tech cultures (Google, GitHub, Stripe, Cloudflare, Meta, etc.)
- Clear, proactive communication skills and the ability to thrive in lean, agile teams
