Overview:
TP-Link Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing IT infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, automation, networking, and system administration. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Management: Assist with design, configuration, and maintenance of network systems, including VLAN, LAN, WAN, and remote access technologies.
- System Administration: Install, configure, and manage servers, workstations, and software applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Technical Support: Provide Tier 2 support to resolve hardware and software issues for employees.
- IT Projects: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, including software upgrades, system migrations, and new technology rollouts.
- Documentation: Assist with the maintenance of detailed documentation of systems, processes, and procedures to ensure continuity and compliance with industry standards.
- Vendor Management: Work with third-party vendors to procure hardware, software, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and optimize as needed to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
- Assist with product/technology selection, including implementation of POCs

- Ability to be part of on-call rotation and provide support after work hours and on weekends.
- Be fluid and open to change and evolving processes and tools.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in IT engineering, network, administration, or a similar role.
- Comfortable with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Familiar with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Microsoft Azure / M365.
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools and practices.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft MCSA are preferred.
- Soft Skills: Good problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual skills in Mandarin and English are nice to have.
Salary range: $68,000-$113,000
