Starting pay range: $28.51 - $34.80 per hour.
Location: Eugene, Oregon.
This position is remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon or Washington as a condition of employment.
Typical working hours: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; will include Saturdays and Sundays
As a Dealer Resolution Specialist (DRS) you will support the initiatives of the Indirect Lending Sales staff by delivering exceptional service to our dealer partners and members. You build strong relationships by providing exceptional service, resolving issues effectively and demonstrating sound decision making. They act as a representative for OCCU, providing support and assistance to dealers when evaluating and responding to dealer exceptions and appeals through phone calls, web messages and/or email. The DRS is an elevated position requiring in-depth knowledge of the indirect lending process to quickly respond to dealer needs, identify issues and resolve escalations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer dealer questions, resolve disputes, coordinate loan details and assist in loan decision details. Host partnership events and provide training and education to dealers.
- Contact and communicate with Indirect Loan Processors, Assistant Indirect Lending Production Manager, Indirect Lending Production Manager, Indirect Lending Sales Manager, dealers and/or members as needed to resolve and close loan applications.
- Follow up on unfunded loans. Contact dealer sales staff and others to resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with consumer lending or loan processing or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer for data entry and compiling information. This includes use of Microsoft Office suite, Adobe as well as credit union systems.
- Exceptional member service skills demonstrate professional and courteous communication in a high-pressure environment.
