The Role
The Versaterm Public Safety Partner Success Team creates and sustains supportive relationships with our public safety partners. Everything we do originates from our desire to support the needs of our partner agencies so that they are capable and empowered to achieve the mission of serving faithfully and saving lives.
Partner Success Managers (PSM) create and support meaningful relationships with their assigned partner agencies to drive value, reduce/manage churn, and get to renewal. The Partner Success Renewal Manager (PSRM) takes a comprehensive approach to supporting the tactical renewal process for and with the PSM so that the renewal is accurate and on time.
This position can be based in either of our offices in Mesa, AZ, or Lexington, SC, or performed remotely from a home office. For candidates located near one of these offices, a hybrid work model will be required.
What You’ll Do
Contracts and Quotes
- Engage with the PSM assigned to each business unit to collaborate on upcoming contracting and quoting needs for all customer accounts
- Creates quotes for 2500+ accounts in support of PSM renewal motion
- Support the PSRM in tracking renewals in Salesforce and supports PSMs regarding quotes and annual recurring revenue (ARR) percentages expected for each BU/product
- Confers with PSRM on all values of renewal
- Manage the Renewal Tracker for PSM quote requests, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition, ARR, product, pricing, etc.
- Measures quotes against Salesforce and Gainsight and confers with PSRM before contract or quote approval to PSM for release to partner agency/customer
- Participates in tracking vendor and government form requests; collaborates with the Partner Success Team, Finance Team, and Legal Team to ensure each request is completed, stored in Salesforce, and returned to the agency
- Contract management skills—strong understanding of state and local government contracting procedures. Knowledge of how different Terms & Conditions affect business goals and ability to suggest responses to customer comments that minimize company risks
Invoicing Processes
- Ensure all opportunities in Salesforce are kept current with accurate Close Dates, Subscription Start Dates, Next Steps, etc.
- Participate in Revenue Operations/Partner Success weekly pipeline meetings
- Update Salesforce on discrepancies and liaise with Versaterm Revenue Operations regarding any concerns with subscription dates, ARR, etc.
- Act as a liaison between Finance and Revenue Operations for PSMs, addressing questions about accounts in arrears or at risk
What You Bring
- Proficiency in MS Office and mastery-level use of Salesforce.
- Experience with CRM and CLM tools
- Strong knowledge of finance operations and SaaS renewal processes
- A well-organized, self-directed team player with a resourceful mindset and strong problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Deep understanding of the complete sales cycle, from marketing through customer renewals, and its value
