CorVel is looking to hire a Call Center Intake Representative supporting the liability claims team who wants to make a difference to others. In this role you will support the liability team in the set-up of liability claims that come in either by phone or email; gather information, then input information into our system. This position is fully remote, and you will have the opportunity to grow within our organization.
This position is fully remote and open to candidates residing near Richmond, VA. The schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday with rotating weekends every 3rd to 4th weekend.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide quality telephonic and email customer service including inbound and outbound messages.
- Responsible for addressing client, patient and/or provider inquiries via email, fax, telephonic, or written correspondence ensuring adherence to contractual and state guidelines as well as client instructions.
- Receive and respond to daily emails and correspondence.
- May upload documents and input notes in the claims system
- Requires regular and consistent attendance.
- Additional duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & PREREQUISITE SKILLS:
- Effective multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office including Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to problem solve
- Organize and maintain workload, ability prioritize work accordingly
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience.
- Strong and consistent work history.
- Required 1-2 years prior work experience in in customer service and Liability claims
PAY RANGE:
CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $13.63 - $21.00 per hour
