The Lupus Research Alliance (LRA), the largest non-governmental funder of lupus research in the world, is seeking a highly motivated, data-driven Associate, Data Integrity and Reporting. This role will be integral in supporting LRA’s Development team by maintaining data integrity, leading data cleanup projects, running weekly data and audit reports to ensure accurate gift entry and adhering to proper financial guidelines. The Associate, Data Integrity and Reporting will also be responsible for a variety of aspects of Development Operations including creating ad-hoc custom reports, assisting in gift processing, reconciling Finance department’s month-end close, leading various data and CRM projects, creating business processes, and leading trainings.
Responsibilities
Audit Salesforce regularly for proper entry of constituents, opportunities, transactions and other records to ensure all required information is being captured accurately and consistently
Build and share custom ad-hoc reports, lists and dashboards for Development
Create and modify business processes that pertain to gift processing, data entry, and other business processes that affect the donor management system
Lead the monthly Development Pipeline Review meeting which includes preparing the pipeline report and documenting any changes
Assist with yearly financial audit by providing reports to the accounting team, reaching out to Development fundraisers for missing documentation and reconciling Salesforce data with Finance data
Assist in gift processing, data entry and data cleanup projects
Lead training for new staff and set-up office hours for Salesforce questions.
Provide exceptional customer service for Development staff and other internal and external customers
Adhere to legal and regulatory nonprofit standards
Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to: helping with on-site and off-site events, working weekends, traveling for events, and performing other administrative tasks
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Development/Project Management in a nonprofit setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Asana, and Dropbox
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
Familiarity and comfort operating in a donor database (Salesforce)
Adapts and willingly adjusts to constantly changing circumstances, deadlines, and parameters with a positive and ambitious attitude
Adept at handling confidential donor information
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
Sensitivity and discretion around confidential projects and information
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on internal partnerships
Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive strategy and measure success
Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
