Full-Time Medical Insurance/Claims Account Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Medical Insurance/Claims Account Specialists to join our team in supporting healthcare patients. This role focuses on patient financial engagement (such as processing payments to the hospital/provider after the insurance has paid its portion), appointment scheduling, and insurance claim resolution to ensure a seamless experience for patients and providers.
Minimum Technical Qualifications
- Strong technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Hardwire Connection to the Internet (No WiFi)
- Cannot have any Mobile Hotspot or Satellite Internet Providers
- Dual Screens and a High-Quality Headset
- Experience with the Genesys phone system is a must.
Mandatory Experience
- Medical Claims and Insurance Processing
- Medical Billing/Collections
- Patient Engagement/Appointment Setting in an Outbound Setting
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Successful completion of a mandatory background check is required. Training compensation is contingent on passing this screening.
- Proven ability to maintain high performance in a fast-paced environment, while balancing multiple tasks at the same time.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A quiet, dedicated place to work. It is critical to prevent background noise from kids, pets, traffic, doorbells, TVs, radios, etc.
Availability
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time.
- Availability to train on weekdays, full-time.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $15.00/hr.
