Location: Remote – USA
The Role: Event Setup Specialist
Evaluate all incoming documents and data from the medical provider, searches for incoming insurance and employer leads, update the patient file into AcciClaim, and determine what the appropriate next steps are based on the current available information and any contractual or state requirements.
Your Day:
Evaluate incoming data and properly identify leads and other information that is important to working the event.
Enter any relevant new incoming information into the patient record.
Synthesize available information and determine what additional information may be needed and what the appropriate next steps are in working the event.
Successfully interact with data in a variety of formats including paper, fax, and electronic.
Consistently achieve production standards and QA requirements.
Perform special projects as assigned.
Maintain confidential information, whether verbal, written or electronic, which I will learn in the course of my work at Revecore.
Will not access or attempt to access confidential data that is unrelated to my job duties in the course of my work at Revecore.
Will not disclose Protected Health Information (PHI) in violation of law.
You will be successful if you have:
The ability to type 35 WPM with minimal errors.
The ability to communicate effectively with internal customers.
Highly organized, and able to follow a systematic method of performing a task.
Ability to enter and process large amounts of information quickly and efficiently with minimal errors.
Proven to be reliable, dependable, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to understand MRA departments, what they do, and what information they need in order to perform their functions.
Ability to alter workflow according to client contractual and state requirements.
Working knowledge of auto and health payers, and ability to understand the hierarchy of patient accounting.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to multiple levels of abstraction (big picture and detail).
Working knowledge of computer functions including the internet, and computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Word Perfect; ability to learn new systems.
Be comfortable working with applicable technologies including (but not limited to) printer, scanner, postage machines and scales, mail sorters, and in house systems.
Work at Home Requirements:
A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home.
A secure internet connection is required.
Home internet with speeds >20 Mbps for downloads and >10 Mbps for uploads.
The workspace area accommodates all workstation equipment and related materials and provides adequate surface area to be productive.
