DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process incoming and outgoing payments accurately and promptly using various payment methods and platforms.
- Analyze payment data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including missing payments, overpayments, and rejections.
- Reconcile payment records with bank statements and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies governing payment processing and financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of payment transactions, adjustments, and resolutions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to address payment-related issues and ensure smooth processing.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of experience in payment processing, financial analysis, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of payment processing systems and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage servicing platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of payment and servicing regulations
- Ability to handle complex tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to coordinate multiple and changing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
