JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sr. Support Training Assoicate will support the team's training and development, with the primary goal of improving training quality and team performance post-training. You will work within the Customer Support team and collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as Product, Escalations, Compliance). In addition, you will escalate leading trends and drivers and engage proactively with the team to help improve the customer experience.
Empower is a remote-first company. We drive connectivity through regular company offsites. Travel for company offsites is expected at a minimum 2 times a year.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Training Manager to develop training content and assist with training and nesting.
- Work closely with support leadership to improve the support team’s efficiency and quality performance.
- Become a subject matter expert on all Empower Products, Resources, and Instructional materials.
- Become knowledgeable of any pain points in Customer Support that our customers or team members are experiencing.
- Advocate for customers and team members from within the organization and drive changes that can improve their experience.
- Proactively look for ways to improve our processes, content, and the customer experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Motivated by Empower’s mission and determined to create a seamless support experience for our customer base.
- 2-3 years in a customer support role, preferably in the fintech industry
- Demonstrated passion for the customer experience and the ability to solve problems with a short turnaround time for customers while maintaining a high level of empathy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in easily understood, concise language
- Familiarity with banking regulations and payment processes; compliance is a plus
- Ability to communicate cross-functionally and globally
- Experience with content creation
- Experience with QA or training is a plus
