We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our team! This entry-level position will play a vital role in supporting the People department’s daily operations and ensuring smooth execution of people processes and systems.
We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator who loves to work in a fast-paced environment to join our People Team. You are all about details, systems, processes, and love understanding how things work behind the scenes. Your colleagues would describe you as someone who always wants to understand the “why” and is constantly assessing how to do things better and faster, all while maintaining a high level of quality. In this role, you will work across the People Team to ensure our foundational processes are running efficiently and working directly with our most important customers – our team members – to ensure they can focus on their most important work.

What you will do as the People Operations Coordinator:
- Support our team members across a broad range of People-related questions. You will be the first point of contact for all employee questions that come through the People Team inbox, providing timely responses to inquiries and/or directing to the appropriate point of contact on a wide range of topics including policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Lead the end-to-end process for all employee changes. You will own the execution and optimization of all employee life cycle changes across all systems including: drafting and processing employee change letters and overseeing the offboarding process.
- Maintain data integrity and system operations. You will ensure our employee data is up-to-date and accurate across all data sources and employee files. You will regularly run audits to ensure employee data is accurate and workflows are functioning properly.
- Manage Independent Contractor Requests. You will execute the end-to-end independent contractor process from request through execution, onboarding, set up, tracking and offboarding.
- Manage Leave of Absences. You will partner with People Partners and third party leave administrators to execute and track all leave of absences, including short-term disability, parental leave, and FMLA. Partner with Sparrow, third party leave administrator.
- Support People Team Initiatives. You will partner across the People Team on initiatives throughout the year.

- Eagle-eyed attention to detail – You’re the one who spots the tiniest typo on a website, catches inconsistencies in formatting, and ensures everything is polished, pristine, and accurate
- A “what if” thinker – You have a demonstrated ability to consider the downstream and upstream effects of changes and engaging the right partners when neededA passion for People Operations – You believe in and are eager to build your skills in how People Operations can make work better for employees. An customer-centric mindset – You understand and can demonstrate how you have taken a customer-centric approach to employees.
- Strong prioritization skills – You are a pro at prioritization and know when to raise your hand and recalibrate to validate you are working on the right work, with the greatest impact.

- Experience at a high growth start up a plus
- Previous internship or work experience in a People Operations capacity is a strong plus
