Summary:
The Servicing Specialist is responsible for various tasks to assist the Portfolio Management Team in portfolio monitoring, annual reviews, servicing action requests, and loan modification requests.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of loan administrative experience or equivalent financial service and customer service experience. SBA related experience preferred.
- Skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software applications (nCino, FISERV, PayNet, Vertical IQ, Quiktrak, etc.).
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and adapt to change.
- Must comply with all bank policies and procedures as well as applicable state and federal regulations.
- Must complete all required training, suitable to his or her position within the bank.
Job Functions:
- Support the Portfolio Management Team with various portfolio monitoring tasks, including but not limited to insurance exceptions, financial reporting exceptions, and property tax exceptions.
- Daily customer interaction through phone calls, and emails to help the PM address routine servicing matters and/or other related issues.
- Assist Portfolio Management Team with completion of annual reviews.
- Assist Portfolio Management Team with performing requested tasks including but not limited to, ordering site visits, completing address changes, completing ACH form maintenance for updated monthly payments, and address verification for returned mail,
- Assist with special tasks as needed by SBA Senior Management and Team Lead.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Travel as required for in-person meetings and/or training.
