Responsibilities
- Coordinating incoming referrals
- Pleasantly answer phones and/or direct patients and others to the appropriate area or person.
- Accurately register patients and create patient accounts within an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Efficiently schedule patient appointments for both new and existing patients.
- Interaction with physicians offices on the phone
- Coordinating with various staff to ensure patient/customer requests are handled appropriately and timely.
- Demonstrate amazing Customer Service and maintain HIPAA Compliance.
- Other Front Desk Duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare office setting, a plus.
- Working knowledge of insurance benefits, deductibles, co-payments related to the delivery of medical care, a plus.
- Must be outgoing, self-motivated, and driven to succeed. Great at follow up and follow through.
- Excellent multi-tasker in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including phone presence and in writing.
- Excellent organizational skills and experience.
- AmaZing! customer service ethic and high expectations for quality.
- Proficient using the latest versions of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office equipment.
- Quick to pick up on new technology and eager to learn and grow with this position.
- Ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic status
