Job Title: Email Marketing Specialist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and results-driven Email Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This individual will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to engage our audience, drive conversions, and increase revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, excellent copywriting skills, and experience working with email marketing platforms and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Email Campaign Creation and Execution:
- Plan, design, and implement email marketing campaigns, including promotional emails, newsletters, product updates, and customer retention campaigns.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure emails are visually appealing, on-brand, and aligned with the marketing strategy.
- Create compelling email copy and subject lines to increase open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Audience Segmentation:
- Segment email lists based on customer behaviors, demographics, and lifecycle stages to send targeted, personalized content.
- Maintain and clean email lists to ensure they are up-to-date, accurate, and optimized for deliverability.
- A/B Testing and Optimization:
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, CTAs, copy, and visuals to determine the best-performing elements and optimize future campaigns.
- Use data and insights to continually improve email campaign performance and engagement.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor key email marketing metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, unsubscribe rates, and conversion rates.
- Prepare and analyze performance reports, providing recommendations for improving campaigns.
- Use analytics to track campaign performance and adjust strategies to improve results.
- Automation and Drip Campaigns:
- Build, maintain, and optimize automated email workflows (e.g., welcome emails, cart abandonment, re-engagement, and lead nurturing).
- Ensure that automated email programs are running smoothly and driving engagement and conversions.
- List Management:
- Manage and optimize email lists, ensuring they are clean, segmented, and compliant with relevant regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
- Work with the CRM system to integrate email data and improve audience targeting.
- Email Deliverability and Compliance:
- Monitor email deliverability and ensure campaigns comply with industry best practices and legal regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on email marketing best practices, deliverability trends, and privacy laws to ensure compliance with GDPR and other email marketing laws.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the sales, product, and customer success teams to align email marketing campaigns with business goals.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate email marketing with broader marketing strategies and other communication channels.
- Continuous Learning and Development:
- Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in email marketing and marketing automation.
- Experiment with new strategies and technologies to improve campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Marketo).
- Familiarity with email automation, CRM systems, and data segmentation.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with A/B testing, analytics, and campaign reporting.
- Proficiency in email design tools (e.g., HTML, CSS) and an understanding of responsive design.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills for email campaigns.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Working Conditions:
