Job Description:
The Care Coordination Supervisor leads a non-clinical, customer service and patient-focused team that works remotely and offers key services to customers and patients through standard processes, analytics, and feedback used to improve experience, stewardship, and quality metrics.
Position Details:
This role is salaried, not hourly and is expected to support a portfolio of 20 care coordinators during their traditional workday. Supervisors are expected to be available for support to their team between the hours of 7am-6pm which are the general work hours of their team. This position is remote and supporting a fully remote team. We do expect our supervisors to have a a rounding presence with the clinics they support, as well as an in person collaboration meeting once every six weeks in person.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in healthcare
- Experience as a supervisor and/or trainer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented, and has solid problem-solving abilities
- Functions well in a remote team environment
- Comfortable with training and coaching a remote workforce
- Extremely customer service oriented
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applicable systems.
- Strong knowledge of iCentra, Power Chart, Revenue Cycle, HealtheIntent, HealtheAnalytics, and Arcadia
Preferred Qualifications:
- In depth knowledge of health care departments
- Professional experience in process improvement and development
Physical Requirements:
- Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information.
- Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, and manipulate paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
- See and read computer monitors and documents.
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
