Job Description
Support upper leadership to pursue proper billing and reimbursement of transplant claims to achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided. Ensure timely and accurate follow up on patient accounts through review of charges and transplant contract terms. Works closely with managed care to escalate untimely responses from contracted payers.
Act as a liaison between insurers, medical offices, and patients. Handle confidential information and abide by HIPAA laws and other medical policies. Other duties as specified by leadership.
