Key Responsibilities
- Verify and ensure document accuracy and identify errors during processing
- Complete data entry and maintain documentation in patient accounts and billing systems
- Perform various office support tasks, including sorting, routing incoming data, and maintaining customer service
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- One year of on-the-job working experience required
- Ability to type a minimum speed of 40 words per minute or 7,000 data entry keystrokes per hour required
- Experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role preferred
- Knowledge of billing systems and ability to navigate multiple computer applications/systems
