We are looking for an enthusiastic AR Supervisor to lead our team of AR Specialists, ensuring timely collections and minimizing bad debt risks. Responsibilities
- Optimize Processes: Monitor and implement best practices in policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure timely collections.
- Data-Driven Reporting: Prepare comprehensive AR reports for collections and cash applications, utilizing your advanced Excel skills.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers to improve collections and resolve issues.
- Effective Communication: Escalate issues appropriately and maintain clear and effective communication across all levels.
- Problem Solving: Reconcile and research customer issues as needed, ensuring thorough and accurate resolutions.
- Multi-Tasking: Prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Maintain Controls: Uphold internal controls surrounding collections and cash application processes.
- Adaptability: Take on additional duties as assigned by the Manager, showcasing your versatility and dedication.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Collections, with a solid understanding of Credit and Collections principles and laws.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), particularly in data preparation and analysis using Excel sheets.
- Decision Making: Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Organization: Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Team Player: Proven ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional Certifications: NACM designations are a plus.
