Overview
We are seeking an Intraop Quality Assurance Analyst to join an agile scrum team. This role will be responsible to Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes prior to production release. Perform tests to ensure that software functionality and user experience meet the defined acceptance criteria received from the product owner. Deeply involved in data integration testing including checking individual components of a software project to expose defects and problems and to verify that they work together as designed. Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report the defects to software developers for rework. Design test plans and scripts for user acceptance testing. This role will work with product owners, software end-users, business analysts, project managers, software developers, software architects, and I.T management.
Job Highlights
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
- Design and implement test plans to ensure that software solutions function as required and meet the needs of the product owners.
- Develops and maintains functional test cases, System & Integration Test cases, and other test artifacts like test data, and automated scripts that are used throughout the QA cycle.
- Train end-users on using software solutions and guide them through user acceptance testing.
- Work with Sr. QA Analyst and/or Business Analysts to define user acceptance criteria.
- Document software defects in a tracking system and report defects to software developers and architects.
- Responsible for validating activities such as Functional, regression, end -to end, smoke testing, and test data management/Test environment management.
- Responsible for integration testing including validating the flow of data through various components of the solution from start to finish.
- Upon execution of tests and in-depth analysis, generates concise reports containing relevant data points in business terms.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems related to end-user experience issues.
- Protect operations and maintain HIPAA compliance by keeping information confidential and working within specific guidelines.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure the end-to-end validations.
- Responsible for working and coordinating with the offshore development team as needed.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete them on time.
- Maintain a high level of quality in each software release.
- Collaborate respectfully with other team members.

- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems

Qualifications
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, IT, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates, and meet production deadlines.
- Must be a detail-oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with a passion for quality.
- Experience with test case management and documentation.
- Experience with manual testing but not limited to Black Box Testing/White Box Testing/System Testing/Integration Testing/Acceptance Testing.
- Experience with Database systems (knowledge of Microsoft SQL or SQL Azure is preferred).
- Experience with Cloud-based software (knowledge of Microsoft Azure is preferred).
- Experience with testing files of various formats like csv, xlsx, txt, JSON etc.
- Experience with API testing is a plus.
- Experience working for offshore/mixed implementation teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources.
- Support root cause issue analysis, problem solving and support key recommendations for process improvements.
- 5 years of experience testing software solutions for end-users.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Must possess sufficient eye-hand coordination/manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
- Required normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports and evaluations.
- Requires lifting papers and boxes weighing up to 35 pounds occasionally.
- Requires dexterity to type at least 35 wpm.
