Overview
This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to provide analytical insights into data related to the Quality Payment Program (QPP), encompassing the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), MIPS Value Pathways (MVP), and other relevant initiatives. The position involves maintaining ongoing reports and generating ad-hoc reports to support platform-level MSOs, clinical leadership, and legal and arbitration teams. Furthermore, the analyst will assist in research efforts through data retrieval and summarization. By developing a comprehensive understanding of quality data, this individual will leverage their expertise to enhance quality reporting processes, ensuring optimal outcomes for all stakeholders.
Job Highlights
- Utilize SQL and other coding languages to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
- Provide analytical insight into quality data to support the company's objectives and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain data visualization tools and reports using PowerBI and Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate with clinical, legal, operational, and technical teams to identify and address data-related issues.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through rigorous quality checks and validation processes.
- Communicate analytical findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to data quality and analytics.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Demonstrated ability to consume data and translate it into information and knowledge.
- Intellectual curiosity with history of rapidly gaining new skills and acquiring new information.
- Proven experience with SQL and other coding languages; proficiency in R is preferred.
- Strong skills in data visualization methods and tools, particularly PowerBI and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in anesthesia, is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional work experience required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching
- Must possess sufficient eye-hand coordination/manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment
- Required normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports and evaluations.
- Requires lifting papers and boxes weighing up to 35 pounds occasionally
- Requires dexterity to type at least 35 wpm.
